About A Thousand Leaves

Located at 22 SE 5th Ave Ste D, Gainesville, FL 32601, A Thousand Leaves operates as a tea store serving Gainesville in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 12–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Customers rate it 5.0 out of 5 on Google across 48 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded tea stores in Gainesville.

Gainesville is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Gainesville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This place is absolutely magical and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and kind ✨️ Their teas and tinctures are such lovely health supports, and they can create custom blends according to your unique needs. So grateful that we have this as a resource in Gainesville. They also sell books, candles, hydrosol sprays, crystals, and more! Highly recommend πŸ’œ

A Thousand Leaves is incredible. The shop is easy to access, small and tidy while not crammed, and has a huge variety, and selection, of teas, herbs, spices, tinctures, soaps, customs blends, etc. All of their herbs are organically farmed or ethically wild harvested. I've been drinking their tea for a few years and it always tastes extremely fresh and flavorful. To my knowledge, this is the best herb shop Gainesville has to offer would 10/10 recommend.
